About Us

"Great treats. Worthy addition to a balanced diet"
- Animed Veterinary Surgeons, Whitstable

Our dogs are part of the family and in return for the love and trust they give us they deserve the best we can provide for them.

As a Pet Supplies retailer, we became concerned about conventional dog food and treats after becoming "mum and dad" to our Labradoodle Barney in 2008.

We did believe by feeding him well known, heavily advertised, and generally more expensive brands, we were providing him the best quality nutrition and balanced diet we could.

After he rejected several leading brands of food and began to lose weight we were worried enough to begin our research into the content,   nutritional value and manufacturing process of widely available foods and treats.

We were shocked enough to the point where we severely questioned our ability to continue endorsing and selling these products.

The only option we concluded, was to change everything we gave to Barney if we wanted him to live a long and healthy life. Our vet approved our recipes. Barney’s whole diet changed and BEACH DOG BAKERY WAS BORN.
